Our focus as of late has been mid-century modern design. Typically we integrate a variety of natural wood grains into the design, keeping as much character as possible from the original space while adding a modern aesthetic. Below, we had a single slab of marble cut to size for the backsplash of soft close cabinets and a fully encased Dacor refrigerator.

Large Kitchen Island

Using white cabinets and marble we preserved the openness of the space while integrating wood texture.

Custom Butcher Block Countertops

We’ve installed the butcher block countertops you can pick up at most home supply stores, but we typically see issues with the quality of the wood or the glue used. They also tend to degrade quickly, and don’t provide a high-end look. Here, purchased a single slab of high-quality wood and had it professionally cut and sanded to fit the space. This worked well as the customer was creating a nautical-themed vacation rental in Pacific City, Oregon.

Luxury Confined
